Northern Nigeria has a lot of high, flat plains.
The Hausa and Fulani make up the biggest ethnic
group in Northern Nigeria. There is a very hot climate and a lot of
the people are farmers and herders.

Much of Western Nigeria, located on the Gulf of Guinea, is savanna. The Yoruba
make up the largest ethnic group in the western region of Nigeria. City-Yoruba have a variety of jobs to choose from,
while urban Yoruba work on farms.The Yoruba are known for their beads and drums.

Eastern Nigeria, also on the Gulf of Guinea, has swamps lining its coast. The largest
ethnic group is the Igbo, with 18% of Nigeria's people belonging to this group. The Igbo like to use masks
and sometimes build houses on stilts in swampy areas. Most of Eastern Nogeria's money comes from oil.
